Specialisation
Sarah is an experienced specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist who has more than 16 years of NHS and private practice experience.
Particular areas of interest are the shoulder and spinal dysfunction. Sarah thoroughly assesses and employs an individualised approach to management using a combination of education around self-management, exercise therapy and manual therapy to facilitate recovery. Sarah particularly enjoys using strength and conditioning, yoga and pilates-based exercise and is skilled in acupuncture, manual therapy techniques and taping.
Other Experience
In addition to private practice currently works part time in the NHS as a highly specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist and First Contact Physiotherapist in GP surgeries. Sarah has considerable experience working in orthopaedic and rheumatology clinics alongside consultants and has also led a specialist NHS multi-bed acupuncture clinic within the NHS for 2 years.
