Lower Limb Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner
Lizzie is a Lower Limb Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner with extensive experience in the NHS, and in private practice and sports settings. She works closely with some of London’s top consultants, to ensure that you receive the best care. Lizzie also enjoys her role as a physiotherapy lecturer for a variety of different lower limb and running related courses. As well as speaking at webinars, podcasts and international symposiums. These experiences ensure that Lizzie remains up to date with evidence-based musculoskeletal rehabilitation, and she can provide you with current best practice for your injury and recovery.
Lizzie has a particular interest in the lower limb, and she enjoys treating a variety of injuries, including:
- Foot and ankle injuries
- Running injuries
- Achilles tendon problems
- Hip and groin pain
- Knee injuries
- Patellofemoral pain
- Lower limb tendinopathies.
Lizzie also has extensive experience providing second opinions for patients with complex hip and groin problems, including hip dysplasia, femoroacetabular impingement and gluteal tendinopathy. She can give you expert advice regarding the diagnosis, relevance of imaging findings and most appropriate treatment options, which are tailored to your individual needs. Lizzie also enjoys working with runners, recreational athletes and people who are struggling to increase their activity levels because of their pain or injury.
Lizzie has completed a masters degree in Physiotherapy, as well as several advanced clinical practice modules at postgraduate level. These courses have helped her to develop advanced skills in the assessment and management of patients with complex musculoskeletal conditions.
