It is widely established that exercise during pregnancy brings with it many health benefits.  It can help to improve energy levels, reduce stress and anxiety.

Pilates during pregnancy is an excellent way of exercising to improve your posture, to strengthen your deep abdominals, pelvic floor, back and arm muscles, as well as relaxing.  Our antenatal Pilates classes are specifically designed for pregnant mums, helping them to better cope with their changing shape and the physical demands of pregnancy and labour.

Antenatal Pilates focuses on your core strength, thereby helping to prevent incontinence and prolapses.  Regular Pilates during pregnancy will help you return to your pre preganncy physique once your baby has been born.

It is vital to ensure that any exercise that you take part in during pregnancy is safe. Here at Central Health Physiotherapy, our antenatal Pilates classes are taken by our specialist Pilates Instructor, René King, so you can rest assured you are in the best of hands.


  • One-to-one sessions (1 hour): £25.  
  • If you have a friend who is also pregnant and she’d like to join you, the cost reduces to £20 per person.  

You must be at least 14 weeks pregnant.
