Upright Stretch Exercise Video

An excellent exercise to help mobilise the upper back and lengthen the neck region. A good exercise when performed regularly for those who work in seated positions (office based work, drivers, cyclists etc).

In sitting, lift your chest bone gently forwards and upwards. Make sure that you do not feel your lower back coming away from the back of the chair. Now elongate the head into the hands, as you pull your elbows backwards.

This exercise is to target extension in the upper back and lengthening through the neck.
