Single Leg Calf Raise Off Step Exercise Video

An advanced strengthening exercise which is beneficial for the calf, achilles or ankle.

Video Transcription

To perform this exercise, stand on the bottom step of your stairs. Position the foot to be exercised with the ball of the foot on the step and with the heel off the step. Use your hands on the stair rail to help you maintain balance.

Now pushing up onto the ball of your foot, try to ensure that your body travels vertically, rather than allow yourself rock forward.

Slowly return to the start position.
