Core Stability & Proprioceptive Retraining Hydrotherapy Exercise Exercise Video

This exercise can to used to address both core stability issues and poor balance following LL injuries or operations. The idea is to try and maintain good control and balance whilst you are using the float to knock you off balance. Start with standing on 2 legs and progress to 1 to make it harder. Try to make sure that you stand nice and tall and focus on correct posture.

Video Transcription

During the hydrotherapy session, the patient will work through a planned routine of exercises, under the close supervision of the hydrotherapist. Using floats increases resistance, so the muscles being exercised get the greatest benefit.
