Adductor Side Plank Exercise Video

A strengthening exercise for the adductor muscle group. Excellent exercise for footballers, hockey players and all sports involving change of direction.

Video Transcription

Lying on your side placing your top leg on a chair or bench.

Now lift yourself up so that your trunk is perpendicular to the floor.

From this position lift your bottom leg so that it touches the underside of the bench or chair.

This exercise can be made more difficult by moving further away from the bench, so that less of your top leg makes contact with the bench.
