Pain going up and down stairs or pain when sitting for a long time, are common problems. You can also get locking knees, swelling, ruptured ligaments or arthritis.

Physiotherapy is crucial in the treatment and rehabilitation of knee injuries.  Your therapist will aim to restore a functional range of movement, promote efficient muscle control and re-educate balance and function.  A course of hydrotherapy may be appropriate in some cases.
