Summary
Lauren has worked with Central Health since 2004 and is currently managing the Central Health Physiotherapy and the Home Visit Physiotherapy team.
Specialisation
Lauren has extensive experience treating adults in an inpatient setting having worked in a number of specialties including acute orthopaedics, post-operative rehabilitation and hospice care.
Lauren is passionate about leadership and service development and has gained managerial experience in health, social and palliative care teams.
Other Experience
Lauren graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2000. She started her career working for NHS Scotland and gained further experience in public healthcare in Australia and New Zealand.
Lauren moved to London and joined Central Health Physiotherapy in 2004 as a member of the inpatient team at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth. Over the years she has worked across several Central Health projects and clinics but over the past eight years has focused on developing her interest, skills and passion in people management and service development.
Sport
Runs regularly and has completed half marathons and the Moonwalk.
Completed the 95 miles of the West Highland Way.
Cycled from London to Brighton in aid of St John’s Hospice.
Other
Worked as a physiotherapist on the set of an Oscar nominated movie.
Passionate about travel, with the aim of visiting a new country every year.
