Respiratory (Chest) Physiotherapy – for the treatment of conditions which affect the heart and lungs, such as cardiac problems, emphysema, chronic bronchitis, and cystic fibrosis. Chest physiotherapy is also essential following general surgery and severe illness that requires intensive care. Keena has specialist expertise in chest clearance techniques, as well as providing appropriate exercise and learning pacing and optimal resting positions to improve your functional ability.
Keena was the specialist physiotherapist team lead for over 5 years at London’s Heart Hospital, a specialist heart and lung surgical hospital in central London. She has led on the management of patients on long-term ventilation and rehabilitation after critical illness. Keena has an extensive range of inpatient clinical experience gained in the NHS in large London teaching hospitals including University College London Foundation Trust.
