Update from Natasha Price MD
So, here we are in March 2022, nearly two years since the pandemic began. We have had a very tough time since we closed our doors in March 2020, as have so many other companies. Each new lockdown brought more financial loss, pressure, stress and anxiety to all of us.
We wondered if we would ever get back to normal and be able to pay our bills, get our children back into school, and see our families and friends without keeping apart and not hugging. Who would have thought we would accept being told by the government when we can hug someone?
I am not sure we will ever listen to that again! Human contact and laughter keep us all healthy, so at last, despite Omicron, it feels like we are heading in the right direction.
I have a great team of people working with me which has kept the show on the road and teamwork has never been more important. From our cleaners to the website designer, the admin team, the physios and managers, everyone has pulled their weight and accepted lots of chopping and changing needed to do this. All our new spaces are spacious, ventilated and pristine. CHP is very much here for you as our clients and referrers, and we really look forward to continuing to work with you into 2022.

Clinic Updates:
Chancery Lane:
The City has been very quiet for a long time now, but despite this, I am delighted to be able to say that we are still here! After 27 years, we have moved our original clinic, Chancery Lane, 200 yards down the road into premises that are more spacious, more easily reached and brighter with a newer, fresher look. It is is gradually getting busier, but we need people to come back to their offices. This will surely happen this month when we can rightly all have more Spring in our steps!
Chelsea:
With the health and safety of the Pensioners paramount at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, our clinic there had to be closed to us and the public for 18 months. We were quick to set up a temporary clinic in Pimlico until summer 2021, when we moved back into Chelsea , and were again able to make use of our lovely hydrotherapy pool. We have refurbished the clinic and are delighted that it is getting busier and busier.
St Johns Wood:
Having been under someone else’s roof for over 18 years in St John’s Wood, we are now a standalone clinic in wonderful new premises on Wellington Road which is a few minutes’ walk from St John’s Wood Tube Station. It is a fabulous ground floor space and it is already thriving.

Staff Changes
Welcome to:
- Specialist Physiotherapist Michael Lambert, who will be based at our Chelsea clinic, comes to us from a busy mixed NHS and private background and we look forward to his bringing new ideas and enthusiasm to the team.
- Lynsey Ellis and Tatjana Tranchina, who both join our team of Massage Therapists, offering clinics across all three sites.
- After some time away we have also welcomed back our former specialist physio, Megan Sumner, who joins the team at St John’s Wood.
Goodbye & Thank you
We are sad to say goodbye to Shefali Desai after almost seven years at CHP. She has been a great asset to the team in both her physio and managerial roles. Her new role will mean she is nearer home and family life. We wish her well in her new position and will be keeping very much in touch.
