Health Screening at Central Health
At Central Health we firmly believe in the concept that prevention is better than cure. We advocate the promotion of a healthy lifestyle and the avoidance of risk factors as being of major importance to our clients and to their companies. Our screening questionnaires, physical examination and series of tests are designed to aim to detect signs or symptoms of possible disease as early as possible. For example a recent landmark clinical trial has confirmed that the vast majority of premature cardiovascular disease can be attributed to the presence of just 9 different risk factors.
It is common sense that early diagnosis can increase the chances of early cure. If a health problem is lurking then it is usually better to know about it so that action can be taken.
Of course the vast majority of our clients will be reassured that no problems have been found but if an early problem is discovered, we can ensure that prompt advice is given so that positive action can be taken without delay.
All of our assessments will have a clear health action plan, within the report summary, for our clients to refer to. A copy of this is usually also sent to the patient's GP.
