Physiotherapists
All of the physiotherapists at Central Health Physiotherapy are members of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with The Health Professions Council. With approximately 40 staff, Central Health Physiotherapy has a substantial base of experience and encourages the exchange of knowledge and ideas. Physiotherapists are available to ensure service cover 52 weeks of the year.
The Occupational Therapists are all state registered and members of The Health Professions Council.
Swati Bhagat MCSP, SRP
Central Health Physiotherapy since September 2011;
based at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth. (Senior Paediatric Physiotherapist)
Specialisation
Paediatric physiotherapy in treating patients from babies to adolescents with a variety of conditions including musculoskeletal outpatients (rheumatological conditions JIA and hypermobility), developmental delay, orthopaedics and respiratory conditions.
Other experience
Six years within the NHS based at large London hospitals including Guys and St Thomas' Hospital (Evelina Children's) and most recently Great Ormond Street Hospital. Two years at New York University Hospital (Hospital for Joint Diseases).
Education
BSc (HONS) in Physiotherapy from the University of Manchester in 2002.
