Physiotherapists
All of the physiotherapists at Central Health Physiotherapy are members of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with The Health Professions Council. With approximately 40 staff, Central Health Physiotherapy has a substantial base of experience and encourages the exchange of knowledge and ideas. Physiotherapists are available to ensure service cover 52 weeks of the year.
The Occupational Therapists are all state registered and members of The Health Professions Council.
Lucy Butler MCSP, AACP, BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy
Central Health Physiotherapy since January 2011;
based at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth.
Specialisation
Musculoskeletal outpatients.
Dedicated to finding the most effective ways of reducing pain and restoring function.
Sports injury management and rehabilitation, especially lower limb.
Post surgical rehabilitation.
Acupuncture (AACP member) for pain relief.
Teaching Therapeutic Pilates one to one or to a group.
Also part of the Hyper-Mobility team.
Other experience
4 years NHS experience at University College London Foundation Trust
Experience working within a lower limb rehabilitation clinic, assisting with high level post operative knee rehabilitation.
18 months in a private Spire hospital working closely with Orthopaedic Consultants.
Extensive experience working within hydrotherapy using water to rehabilitate patients.

BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy at Southampton University 2005 AACP Accredited 2008
Sport
Sailing and yacht racing.
I have a competent crew qualification achieved as a crew member in The Tall Ships race and
have competed in the Round the Island race.
Skiing, swimming and running.
