Physiotherapists

All of the physiotherapists at Central Health Physiotherapy are members of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with The Health Professions Council. With approximately 40 staff, Central Health Physiotherapy has a substantial base of experience and encourages the exchange of knowledge and ideas. Physiotherapists are available to ensure service cover 52 weeks of the year.

The Occupational Therapists are all state registered and members of The Health Professions Council.

Harriet Whines BSc (Hons)

Central Health Physiotherapy since April 2008;
based at the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth

Specialisation

Musculoskeletal outpatients and orthopaedics with a special interest in the assessment and functional rehabilitation of spinal pain
Practicing member of the Acupuncture Association for Chartered Physiotherapists
Pilates trained with APPI

Other experience

Five years in the NHS, gained extensive experience in many different areas of physiotherapy including post operative rehabilitation, paediatrics, domiciliary care and acupuncture. Provides work station assessments and occupational health physiotherapy for a large multinational company in the city.
