Physiotherapists
All of the physiotherapists at Central Health Physiotherapy are members of The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with The Health Professions Council. With approximately 40 staff, Central Health Physiotherapy has a substantial base of experience and encourages the exchange of knowledge and ideas. Physiotherapists are available to ensure service cover 52 weeks of the year.
The Occupational Therapists are all state registered and members of The Health Professions Council.
Corrine Ward MCSP
Central Health Physiotherapy since June 2010;
based at the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth every Friday for respiratory out patients
Specialisation
Chronic lung disease management, dysfunctional breathing, dyspnoea management and energy conservation, ambulatory oxygen assessment, exercise advice and asthma action planning.
Other experience
Imperial healthcare NHS trust - currently part time clinical specialist in the Chest and Allergy out-patients bridging the gap between primary and secondary care for all chronic lung disease (extended scope of phlebotomy, capillary arterial blood gas sampling, spirometry, skin prick testing and chest x-ray request).
Northwick Park Hospital - lead respiratory physiotherapist
St Mary's NHS Trust - lead respiratory therapist, managing medical and neurology services
