Pilates
We offer Pilates classes run by experienced physiotherapists as well as one on one sessions run by a qualified Pilates Instructor.
For a healthier body that moves well you need a strong core. Pilates involves mental and physical training to develop the deeper central core muscles in the abdomen and back. It is very effective at dealing with muscle imbalances in the body, releasing muscles that are tight and strengthening those that are weak. The exercises are also used to treat specific problems, such as:
- Low back pain
- Neck and upper back stiffness and pain
- Knee and hip problems
- Tight hamstrings and calves
- Shoulder tightness
